Who are we?
Founded by owners Luis Diego Zuñiga and Kattya Hidalgo Murillo, El Silencio del Campo Hotel started construction back in July 2004 and kicked off lodging services in 2005. Of entirely Costa Rican ancestry, the Hotel founders are deeply proud and respectful of their background, heritage, and idiosyncrasy. Their families showcase what best defines the Costa Rican character, peace makers and lovers, amiability and attentiveness to locals and visitors. Diego and Kattya truly possess a deeply rooted sense of solidarity and willingness to help clients and collaborators, which grow not only into guests but also collaborators
