"Spent three nights here on honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pictures on the web don't do this place justice! The gardens are stunning, overlooking the volcano. The hotel also has a small pool, spa and large thermal springs bath- we liked the spring here so much, we didn't bother paying to visit the other springs in the area.

The cabins are spacious, clean with an outside deck where you can have a drink and view the volcano.

Staff are very helpful and gave us lots of guidance booking tours etc. This hotel is very comfortable and excellent value for money." By Trip Advisor

I stayed at Hotel El Silencio del Campo for one night. It was truly an amazing stay! Romantic and quiet. The grounds are immaculately kept. The hotel has its own hot springs which is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring La fortuna.

Best of all their hot springs are not open to the public-so it really feels like it is your own.

The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms are each their own private cabin with private porch. Extremely spacious and lovely.

I would stay here again and again-loved every minute of it.

"We stayed at El Silencio del Campo for three nights but could have stayed there our entire trip! Very helpful, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfasts included at the sit down restaurant at the hotel (lots of choices which was great with kids). The property itself is beautiful and every room has an incredible view of Arenal from the porch. Our stay included a complimentary facial at the spa-amazing! " By TripAdvisor
